Home Product Support uses session storage for the device matcher and records anonymous guide feedback and correction details. It does not ask for an account, contact information, serial number, password or precise location.

01

Device matcher

Selections are stored for the current browser session so the chosen device can persist while you move between records. They are not a device scan and do not expose network credentials.

02

Guide feedback

The worked/did-not-work control records the guide identifier, answer, stated version scope and time. It does not attach an account, name, email address, full IP address or device identifier to the response.

03

Correction reports

A correction stores the record title, the device or software description you enter, the reported mismatch, review state and time. Do not put personal or account information in the report.

04

Sensitive information

Never submit passwords, Wi-Fi credentials, payment information, private account messages or full device identifiers in a correction report.

05

Third-party sources

Links to manufacturers and service providers are governed by their privacy practices. Home Product Support does not embed a third party’s live status panel when a direct official link is safer.
