- Hardware — Motorola support specifications page6.9-inch main pOLED (120Hz) + 3.6-inch external pOLED display, 4,500mAh battery, 8GB RAM, MediaTek Dimensity 7400X, 256GB storage, IP48 water resistance.
- Type — clamshell FOLDABLE (crease normal), valueThe value Razr foldable — a folding inner screen with a SMALLER external cover screen than the Razr+, so it runs fewer things on the outside. A horizontal inner-screen crease is normal. Near-stock Android (My UX).
- Inner screen careSoft-topped inner OLED — no hard styluses, no pressing hard, no forcing objects into the fold. Keep grit out of the hinge.
- Moto ActionsMotorola gesture shortcuts via the Moto app; a gesture off is a setting, not a fault.
- Battery and chargingA 4,500 mAh battery with 30 W wired and 15 W wireless charging, on a Dimensity 7400X.
- Protection and weightIP48, a step from the previous IPX8, and 188 g.
- Model and IMEIThe Motorola razr 2025 shows its IMEI and model in Settings, About phone. Motorola support asks for them.
- The folding screenA folding phone needs care with the hinge and the screen. Avoid sharp objects and do not press hard on the inner screen. Keep dust away from the hinge.
- Cover displayThe outer display shows widgets and notifications. Choose which apps appear from Settings, Display, Cover display.
- Using the foldOpen and close the phone by hand. The inner screen is plastic and can mark with pressure. A screen protector made for the phone helps. Keep the hinge free of dust.
- SettingsThe razr can run some apps on the cover screen. Choose them in Settings, Display, Cover display. Update the phone in Settings, System.
- Warranty and repairMotorola's warranty covers manufacturing defects, and the folding screen may have its own terms, so read them. Back up your data, keep the receipt and note the IMEI before sending the phone for repair.
- Protecting the hinge and screenAvoid pressing hard on the inner screen or closing the phone on a hard object. Keep it out of sand and dust, which can work into the hinge. Use a case designed for folding phones. The first creases are normal, and they do not mean damage.
- ChargingUse the charger in the box or one rated for the phone. Wireless charging works with a compatible pad. If the phone gets warm while charging, take it out of the case.

Exact questions
Questions that only have an answer for the Motorola razr (2025)
Why does my Razr (2025) cover screen do less than the Razr+?+
The standard Razr has a smaller external cover display than the Razr+, so it shows notifications, widgets and a limited set of quick actions rather than running many full apps on the outside — that is the difference between the two models, not a fault. For a large, more capable cover screen you would want the Razr+. Both fold to pocket size with a normal inner-screen crease.
