The glass top on my LG LREL6323 stays hot after I turn it off.+
That is normal and by design — a radiant electric smoothtop stores heat in the glass and element, so the surface stays hot for a while after you turn a burner off, and the hot-surface indicator light warns you. It is not a fault. Wait for the indicator to go out before touching the surface, and it will cool on its own.
