What is true of this model and changes how you fix it
These are the properties that decide which procedure applies. Each is read from the manufacturer’s own published figures for this model, not carried over from a sibling that shares its retail name.
- Cooktop — ELECTRIC radiant smoothtop
- A radiant ELECTRIC smoothtop — heats any flat pan by contact, stays hot after use. A burner not heating is the element/control.
- Oven — electric
- Electric oven with convection on most builds. No-heat is the element or control.
- Self-clean & features
- EasyClean/high-heat self-clean (door locks on high-heat, some smoke normal), ThinQ Wi-Fi on smart builds.

Questions that only have an answer for the LG LREL6323 electric range
Each answer below uses this model’s own published figures. The same question asked about a different model in the line has a different answer, which is why it is answered here rather than on a general page.
The glass top on my LG LREL6323 stays hot after I turn it off.+
That is normal and by design — a radiant electric smoothtop stores heat in the glass and element, so the surface stays hot for a while after you turn a burner off, and the hot-surface indicator light warns you. It is not a fault. Wait for the indicator to go out before touching the surface, and it will cool on its own.
Structured depth, not empty permutations
