  6.3 cu ft, INDUCTION cooktop (5 elements, black ceramic — requires induction-compatible cookware and typically a dedicated 40-50A circuit), slide-in, ProBake Convection, InstaView window.
• Cooktop — INDUCTION (magnetic cookware only)
  An INDUCTION cooktop heats the pan directly by magnetism — it works ONLY with magnetic cookware (a magnet must stick to the pan base). Aluminum, copper and glass pans make NO heat and trigger a no-pan error. The glass stays relatively cool, and boil/off is instant. A 'burner won't heat' is very often the wrong cookware, not a fault.
• Oven — electric
  Electric oven with ProBake convection and Air Fry on most builds. No-heat is the element or control.
• Features
  ThinQ Wi-Fi on smart builds; induction is fast and responsive — rapid heat and instant off are normal.
• How induction works
  An induction cooktop heats the pan directly by magnetism. It works only with magnetic cookware: a magnet must stick firmly to the base of the pan. Aluminum, copper and glass pans make no heat and trigger a no-pan error.
• What induction feels like
  The glass stays relatively cool, and boil and off are instant. A burner that will not heat is very often the wrong cookware, not a fault.
• The oven is separate
  The electric oven has ProBake convection and AirFry on most builds. Its temperature is independent of the cooktop, so an oven that runs hot or cold is an oven matter, not an induction one.
• Testing oven temperature
  Prove the oven's temperature with a thermometer before you adjust it, and use the oven's offset setting for a steady difference.
• InstaView
  The InstaView window lights the oven when you knock twice, so you can see the food without opening the door and losing heat.
• Finding the model number
  The label is on the frame inside the oven door; LG lists the full model as LSIL6336F.
• Which pans work
  A magnet should stick firmly to the base of the pan. Cast iron and most stainless steel pots work; aluminum, copper and glass do not unless they have a magnetic base. A pan that is too small for the zone may not be detected.
• Induction hums
  Induction cookware can hum or click at high power, especially if the base is thin or ribbed. That is the pan vibrating in the magnetic field, not a fault with the cooktop.
