My Mac Studio isn't as fast as I expected in some apps.+

Check whether the app is native to Apple Silicon. The Mac Studio's M2 Max/Ultra is extremely powerful for pro work, but an app still built for Intel runs through Rosetta 2 translation and cannot use the chip fully — look for an Apple Silicon/Universal version. Also, some workloads scale better on the Ultra's extra GPU/CPU cores than others, so a single-threaded task will not show the full benefit. It is not a fault; it is software optimisation and workload type.
