My new Mac mini M4 shows no picture on my monitor.+
Because the mini has no built-in screen, a no-picture issue is the external display connection. Confirm the monitor is on the correct input, use the mini's HDMI or a Thunderbolt/USB-C-to-display cable that supports your monitor, and try each port. Give it a moment to boot on first power-up. If the monitor shows 'no signal', swap the cable and input before suspecting the mini. All display troubleshooting here is the external monitor and cable, since the computer itself is the small box.
Where is the Mac mini M4's power button?+
On the underside, near the left rear corner, raised slightly by the cooling vents. Lift or tip the Mac mini to press it.
