My games/creative apps run slow on my Dell XPS 14 even with the graphics card.+
The XPS 14 has two GPUs — the power-saving integrated one and (if equipped) the discrete NVIDIA one — and Windows may be running the app on the integrated GPU to save battery. Force the app to the high-performance GPU in Windows Settings › System › Display › Graphics (add the app, set 'High performance'), or in the NVIDIA Control Panel. Also plug in the charger, since on battery the laptop may limit the discrete GPU. That switch is the usual fix for slow performance.
