Fisher and Paykel AquaSmart top-load washer codes
The AquaSmart top-load washer shows its faults with flashing lights and beeps, and the pattern gives the code. Water, drain and lid faults are the most common. Check the taps and hoses, the drain hose and the lid, and rebalance a heavy load. The AquaSmart's smart drive motor means electronic faults need a service agent.
Switch the washer off at the power point for a minute and start a short cycle. If the same pattern returns, contact Fisher and Paykel with the model number from the label under the lid.
The AquaSmart washes with a smart drive that moves the wash plate in a pattern designed to protect clothes, and it makes different sounds from a conventional agitator. Unfamiliar noises, such as a gentle chatter in the wash, are often normal. A load that is too large can stop the drive from working properly, and the washer may beep. Reduce the load and try again. The manual lists the exact sound and light patterns the washer uses.
What if the AquaSmart keeps stopping mid-cycle?
Check the load balance, the lid and the water supply, then reset the power once.
Is the wash noise normal?
Often yes; the drive moves differently from an agitator.
