Ubiquiti UniFi U6 Pro access point troubleshooting
Choose the symptom actually shown by U6-Pro. UniFi network; Network application version, gateway ownership, VLANs, PoE and adoption state are part of every diagnosis. Error codes remain separate records because the same characters can mean different things on another platform.
Ubiquiti UniFi U6 Pro access point Ethernet link is limited to 100 Mbps or disconnects
For the Ubiquiti UniFi U6 Pro access point, every cable pair, wall jack, switch and port must negotiate the intended speed.

Which units this covers, and how to tell yours is one of them
Every answer below is scoped to these model identifiers. A neighbouring model in the same line can use a different part, a different reset sequence or a different radio, so matching the identifier before following a procedure is the step that decides whether the rest of the page applies to you.

What is true of this model and changes how you fix it
These are the properties that decide which procedure applies. Each is read from the manufacturer’s own published figures for this model, not carried over from a sibling that shares its retail name.
- Type — Wi-Fi 6 ACCESS POINT (not a router)
- The U6 Pro is a UniFi Wi-Fi 6 (AX) ACCESS POINT — it broadcasts Wi-Fi but does NOT route; it needs a UniFi gateway/router and a PoE source. Router-only symptoms do not apply; it is the radio, not the router. (Wi-Fi 6, so 2.4/5 GHz, no 6 GHz — that is the U6E/U7.)
- PoE powered
- Powered over Ethernet (PoE) from a UniFi switch or injector — an AP that will not power on is usually a PoE issue, not the AP.
- UniFi controller/app
- Adopted and managed in the UniFi Network application. Wi-Fi settings live in the controller, not the AP.

Questions that only have an answer for the Ubiquiti UniFi U6 Pro access point
Each answer below uses this model’s own published figures. The same question asked about a different model in the line has a different answer, which is why it is answered here rather than on a general page.
My UniFi U6 Pro shows as disconnected in the UniFi app.+
An AP that is powered but shows disconnected/pending is usually an adoption or network-path issue: confirm it is getting PoE (a solid light), that it can reach the UniFi gateway/controller over the network (same VLAN/subnet, correct switch port), and adopt it in the UniFi Network application. If it never lights at all, it is a PoE power problem. Because it is an access point, it depends on the gateway and controller — it is not a standalone router.
