What is true of this model and changes how you fix it
These are the properties that decide which procedure applies. Each is read from the manufacturer’s own published figures for this model, not carried over from a sibling that shares its retail name.
- Device type — larger soundbar + 4K streamer
- The Streambar Pro is the full-size version of the Streambar: a soundbar with a built-in Roku 4K streaming player, with more drivers and louder output than the compact Streambar. It connects to the TV over HDMI-ARC or optical for TV audio and streams its own 4K picture.
- HDR / audio
- Streams 4K with HDR10 and HLG (no Dolby Vision). Dolby Audio with virtual surround, plus a headphone jack on its remote for private listening and a Bluetooth mode to play music from a phone.
- Audio routing
- As with any soundbar, playing the TV's other inputs requires the TV to send audio to the Streambar Pro over HDMI-ARC or optical with the TV set to the external audio system — the usual cause of 'silent from my other devices'.

Questions that only have an answer for the Roku Streambar Pro
Each answer below uses this model’s own published figures. The same question asked about a different model in the line has a different answer, which is why it is answered here rather than on a general page.
Can I use the Roku Streambar Pro just as a Bluetooth speaker?+
Yes — the Streambar Pro has a Bluetooth mode so you can stream music from a phone or tablet to it directly, separate from its streaming and TV-audio functions. Its remote also has a headphone jack for private listening. For TV audio from other devices, though, it still needs the HDMI-ARC or optical connection to the TV.
