Is the Samsung Q80C a Mini-LED TV?+

No. The Q80C is a QLED with a standard full-array local-dimming LED backlight, not the Mini-LED used in Samsung's Neo QLED (QN-series) sets. It has fewer dimming zones, so it shows more blooming and less precise contrast than a QN90-series — a tier difference, not a fault. Local Dimming set higher helps manage the blooming.
