A premium AMOLED multisport watch with full maps, multi-band GPS and a built-in LED flashlight. NO built-in microphone or speaker (that arrived on the fēnix 8), so speaker/mic symptoms do not apply to it.
No cellular
No phone cellular — connects through your phone over Bluetooth. 'Cellular not working' does not apply.
Maps, flashlight & battery
Preloaded maps and the flashlight are highlights; AMOLED always-on plus multi-band GPS shortens battery, which is expected in those modes.

Does my Garmin epix Pro Gen 2 have a speaker for calls?+

No — the epix Pro (Gen 2) does not have a built-in microphone or speaker, so it cannot take voice calls or use voice commands on the watch itself; those features arrived later on the fēnix 8. It shows call and message notifications from your connected phone, but you answer on the phone. So speaker/microphone troubleshooting does not apply to this model.
