• Drying — heated + AutoRelease door

• Codes
  LC = leak sensor; drain codes point to the filter and drain hose. Filter and lower spray-arm clogs cause most poor-cleaning complaints.
• The AutoRelease door
  The door opens by itself in the last minutes of the cycle to let steam out. That opening is intentional and helps drying, so a door that is ajar at the end is the system working.
• StormWash
  Jets in the spray arms and rotating nozzles wash the lower rack and the third rack. A clogged filter or a blocked nozzle is the usual reason a part of the load stays dirty.
• Codes
  LC means the leak sensor has detected water; drain codes point at the filter and drain hose; other letter codes name the fill, door and heater.
• The detergent dispenser
  The dispenser door opens during the wash to release detergent. If it does not open, or detergent stays in it, the cause is usually something blocking the door, a damp or caked dispenser or a lid that did not close.
• Heated drying
  A heating element and the AutoRelease door dry the load; rinse aid improves results.
• The AutoRelease door
  In the last minutes of the drying phase the door pops open a few centimetres on its own. Leave it alone: closing it by hand during the phase interrupts the drying, and the spring will push it open again.
• A leak sensor message
  An LC message means the base sensor has detected water. Switch off, check the door seal, the supply connection and the drain hose for the source, and dry the base before restarting, since the sensor will not clear until the base is dry.
• WaterWall and the spray arm
  The WaterWall spray moves along the back of the lower rack. A tall item that blocks its path leaves a strip of dishes dirty, and checking that nothing in the rack obstructs the arm helps.
• Drying and AutoRelease
  The door opens slightly at the end to let steam out. Closing it by hand cuts the drying, so leave it open until the dishes are cool and dry.
• Filter and rinse aid
  Clean the filter monthly and keep the rinse-aid tank filled. These two steps prevent most spots on glasses and a dishwasher that smells.
