• Type — VENTLESS HEAT-PUMP (no vent at all)
  A 7.8 cu. ft. VENTLESS heat-pump dryer (DLHC) — it recirculates and reheats air with a heat pump instead of venting hot air outside, using up to ~65% less energy. There is NO exhaust duct, so 'not drying' is never a blocked vent; it is a condenser/lint or refrigeration question. It also dries at a LOWER temperature, so clothes come out warm, not hot, and cycles run longer than a vented dryer — that is normal.
• Condenser & lint maintenance
  Instead of a vent it has lint filters AND a condenser; this model has an Auto Cleaning Condenser, but the lint filters still need cleaning every load, and a gradually poorer dry is almost always lint/condenser buildup, not a heater fault. It condenses moisture to a drain or tank — a full tank (if not plumbed to a drain) stops it.
• Install & power
  Ventless means flexible install (closet, interior wall). It runs on 240V, with DirectDrive and AI Sensor Dry.
• No vent at all
  A heat-pump dryer recirculates and reheats the air instead of venting hot air outside, so there is no exhaust duct to block. A not-drying complaint is therefore a condenser, lint or refrigeration question, never a clogged duct.
• Lower heat, longer cycles
  It dries at a much lower temperature to save energy, so clothes come out warm, not hot, and cycles run legitimately longer than on a vented dryer.
• Condenser and lint
  The dryer has lint filters and a condenser. This model has an Auto Cleaning Condenser, but the filters still need cleaning every load, and a gradually poorer dry is almost always lint or condenser build-up.
• The water path
  The moisture it removes goes to a drain or a tank. If the dryer is not plumbed to a drain, a full tank stops the cycle, so empty it after use.
• Installing anywhere
  Ventless means it can sit in a closet or on an interior wall. It runs on 240 volts, with a direct drive motor.

• Cooling space
  A heat-pump dryer pumps heat out of the air, so the room should have a little free space round the dryer, and a very hot, closed cupboard makes it work harder and run longer.
• Condenser care
  Beyond the filters, the condenser benefits from a periodic clean as the manual describes. The Auto Cleaning Condenser rinses itself, but a condenser that has collected fluff needs a manual clean, and a dryer that dries worse every month points there.
