LG dryers: gas, electric and heat-pump models
A gas dryer plugs into a 120-volt outlet and its no-heat fault is the igniter, valve coils, flame sensor or gas supply, never a breaker. An electric dryer needs a 240-volt circuit and loses heat from a half-tripped breaker, an element or a thermal fuse. A heat-pump dryer has no vent at all, dries at a lower temperature and stops when its water tank is full or its filters and condenser are clogged. Wrinkles are a loading and a timing matter, and steam cycles can relax them.
The label with the model and serial numbers is inside the door opening. LG's ThinQ app reports cycle status on smart models. Clean the lint filter after every load and, for a vented model, clear the duct to the outside once a year.
