  True convection uses a third element with a fan, so lower the recipe temperature by 25 degrees for baking and check the food sooner. A pale cake in a convection oven often means the rack is too low.
• Burners and zones
  The cooktop has radiant zones with a dual element for larger pans. A zone that will not heat should be checked by trying another zone and confirming the cooktop's lockout is off.
