My ROG Zephyrus G14 gaming performance is lower than expected.+

Open Armoury Crate and set the GPU mode: 'Optimized' or 'Ultimate' (MUX switch to the discrete GPU) gives the best gaming performance by removing the integrated-GPU bottleneck (Ultimate needs a reboot). Also set a Turbo/Performance operating mode, plug in the charger (it throttles on battery), and update the NVIDIA driver. Plugged in, discrete/Ultimate GPU mode, Turbo profile, current drivers is the combination for full frame rates on the G14.
