Troubleshooting an ASUS laptop
ASUS laptops use the MyASUS app for updates, diagnostics and battery care. Hold F2 at power-on for BIOS Setup, and press Esc for the boot menu on many models. Battery health charging in MyASUS limits charging to protect the battery, which can look like a charging fault. The Zenbook, Vivobook, ROG and ProArt lines differ in cooling and ports, and the model on the underside label tells you which guide applies.
If a laptop will not start, charge it for 30 minutes, then hold the power button for about 15 seconds with the charger unplugged and try again.
