Office features
The printer has an automatic document feeder for scanning and faxing. Use the Epson Scan or Smart Panel app for scanning, and the printer's web page for network settings.
Fax and ADF
The WF-4830 has a document feeder for multi-page copies and scans. Fax needs a phone line, set up from the panel. For scanning to a computer, use Epson Scan 2.
Network and security
Set a password for the printer's web page. Use the panel to show the IP address. If the printer goes offline, give it a fixed address on the router.

That is an inkjet printhead clog — run the Nozzle Check, then Head Cleaning (and Power Cleaning only if needed, as it uses a lot of ink), printing the pattern to see improvement. Check the cartridge for the affected color has ink and is seated (tape removed on new ones). It uses pigment cartridges, so keep the printer used to avoid clogs. Unlike the EcoTank, it uses cartridges rather than refill bottles, so watch cartridge levels.
