My Epson EcoTank ET-4850 prints faded/streaky even though the tanks are full.+

EcoTank is still inkjet, so full tanks do not prevent a printhead clog — the usual cause of faded/streaky output, especially after idle time. Run the Nozzle Check, then Head Cleaning (and Power Cleaning if a normal clean does not fix it) from the Epson software/menu, printing a nozzle pattern to gauge improvement. Never let the tanks run dry (air in the lines clogs it). Print regularly. Power Cleaning uses a lot of ink, so use it only when standard cleans fail.
