What is true of this model and changes how you fix it
- Size, weight, chip41mm or 45mm aluminum/stainless steel/titanium case; weight 32.0-51.5g depending on size/material. S7 chip (one generation behind the Series 8's S8), 32GB capacity, Bluetooth 5.0 (Series 8 moved to 5.3).
- BatteryUp to 18 hours normal use. 1000 nits brightness, dimmer than the Series 9/10's 2000 nits.
- Model — Series 7 (41/45mm)Introduced the larger, more durable display and faster charging; has ECG and blood oxygen (no temperature sensor — that started with the Series 8). Speaker/mic; GPS or GPS+Cellular.
- Cellular is optional (a variant)GPS-only or GPS+Cellular — cellular applies only to the cellular model with a plan.
- watchOS supportAn older but still-supported watch; as watchOS moves on, the very newest features may need a newer chip, which is a generation limit, not a fault.
- What owners run intoReports include a watch that does not charge, a cracked screen and a battery that has aged.
- How to approach a faultCheck the charger, the back contacts and Battery Health.
- Finding your modelWatch app, General, About shows the model and serial number.
- ChargingThe Series 7 charges faster with a USB-C cable and a suitable adapter. A watch that will not charge usually has a dirty back, a case in the way or a damaged cable.
- Screen and waterThe Series 7 has a tougher front crystal and is water resistant, but cracks and seals wear, so avoid swimming with a cracked screen.
- Cracked screensA cracked front crystal lets in water, so have it repaired before swimming. Apple repairs screens and replaces batteries, and independent shops do some jobs. If the watch is cracked but works, avoid water and use a screen protector for the repair period.
- Software and compatibilityThe Series 7 runs current watchOS releases, but each update may remove older features. Before updating, check that your iPhone supports the new watchOS, charge the watch to half and keep it on the charger during the update. If an update fails, restart both devices and try again over Wi-Fi.

My Apple Watch Series 7 doesn't have temperature or Double Tap.+
