- Pairing and resetsIf the watch will not pair, restart both devices, update the iPhone and try again. To reset, unpair through the Watch app so that Activation Lock is removed and a backup is made.

Double Tap isn't working on my Apple Watch Series 9.+
Double Tap needs to be enabled (Settings › Gestures › Double Tap), the watch must be on your wrist with the display awake, and it works with the primary action shown on screen — so it will not trigger if the screen is off or the wrist is down. It also does not work while charging. Make sure watchOS is updated. It is a Series 9 (and newer) feature, so older Apple Watches will not offer it.
