Every answer below is scoped to these model identifiers. A neighbouring model in the same line can use a different part, a different reset sequence or a different radio, so matching the identifier before following a procedure is the step that decides whether the rest of the page applies to you.

- Not applicable to this hardware
- This Dyson Cinetic Big Ball vacuum does not have the hardware for: will not charge; battery runs out too quickly; robot vacuum will not return to or charge on the dock; robot vacuum gets lost, stuck or misses rooms. Those symptoms have no page here for this model rather than a page that guesses.

What is true of this model and changes how you fix it
These are the properties that decide which procedure applies. Each is read from the manufacturer’s own published figures for this model, not carried over from a sibling that shares its retail name.
- Type — CORDED cylinder/canister (no battery)
- A CORDED cylinder (canister) vacuum — a wheeled body you pull along with a hose and wand, plugged into mains, so no battery/runtime applies. It self-rights if it topples (the 'Big Ball' design).
- Hose & wand
- Suction reaches the floor head through a long hose and wand, so 'no suction' is most often a blockage in the hose, wand or floor head — disconnect and check each section. The self-righting ball is a feature, not a wobble fault.
- Filter & airway
- Washable filter(s) — wash per the manual and dry fully. Clear the bin, hose and wand for suction loss.

Exact questions
Questions that only have an answer for the Dyson Cinetic Big Ball vacuum
Each answer below uses this model’s own published figures. The same question asked about a different model in the line has a different answer, which is why it is answered here rather than on a general page.
My Dyson Big Ball has no suction at the floor head.+
On a cylinder vacuum, weak suction at the head is almost always a blockage in the long airway. Disconnect the hose and wand and check each: block the hose end with your hand to feel if suction is strong at the body (a blockage is between there and the head), then clear the wand and floor head of hair and debris. Empty the bin and wash/dry the filter too. Being corded, there is no battery involved.
