My Shark PowerDetect Speed won't turn on.+
First confirm it is charged — seat it fully on the dock/charger and look for the charge indicator; a fully depleted battery needs time before it will start. Check the battery is clicked in properly. If it charged but still cuts out, clear any blockage in the wand, dust cup and head (a blockage trips the protection) and wash/dry the filter. Boost mode also drains the battery fast, so a short run then stop can simply be a low charge on high power.
