My Shark Vertex lost suction.+

On a corded upright, suction loss is a blockage or a dirty filter, never a battery. Empty the dust cup, then wash the foam/felt and HEPA filters and let them dry fully before refitting — a clogged filter is the top cause. Check the whole airway (wand, hose, floor head) for hair and debris, and make sure the hose is not cracked. Switching between lift-away/floor modes with a blockage in the wrong path also feels like lost suction.
