Every answer below is scoped to these model identifiers. A neighbouring model in the same line can use a different part, a different reset sequence or a different radio, so matching the identifier before following a procedure is the step that decides whether the rest of the page applies to you.

What is true of this model and changes how you fix it
These are the properties that decide which procedure applies. Each is read from the manufacturer’s own published figures for this model, not carried over from a sibling that shares its retail name.
- Panel — QD-OLED
- 2023 QD-OLED (self-emissive, perfect blacks, no backlight, very saturated colour). A large bright window dimming is the Auto Brightness Limiter, not a backlight fault.
- One Connect box
- All inputs are on a separate One Connect box; the panel has none. Signal/HDMI/ARC troubleshooting happens at the box and its cable.
- No Dolby Vision
- HDR10, HDR10+ and HLG only — no Dolby Vision, like all Samsung TVs.
- Smart platform / gaming
- Tizen, Smart Hub, Gaming Hub, Game Bar. Four HDMI 2.1 (on the box) at 40 Gbps with 4K 144 Hz, VRR and ALLM. Update at Settings › Support › Software Update; screen share Smart View / AirPlay 2.
- Panel
- An OLED panel, where each pixel emits its own light. Dark mode genuinely reduces consumption because black pixels are switched off, and a static bright element left on screen for very long periods is the one wear risk this panel type has that LCD does not.

Questions that only have an answer for the Samsung S95C OLED TV
Each answer below uses this model’s own published figures. The same question asked about a different model in the line has a different answer, which is why it is answered here rather than on a general page.
My Samsung S95C has no inputs on the back of the TV.+
That is correct — the S95C puts every HDMI and other input on its separate One Connect box, which connects to the panel with one slim cable. Plug your sources into the box and troubleshoot signal problems there. It is the same design as the QN95D and S95D.
