Why doesn't my Pixel 5 have the newer Pixel AI features?+

The Pixel 5 uses a Snapdragon 765G, from before Google's Tensor chip — and many of Pixel's newer AI features (like Magic Editor and Audio Magic Eraser) require Tensor hardware, so they are not available on the Pixel 5. It is also past its guaranteed update window, so it no longer gets new Android versions. Those are its age and chip generation, not faults; the phone still handles everyday tasks.
