My Pixel 6 is slow and the battery is weak now.+
The first-generation Tensor was never the fastest and ran warm, and on an older Pixel 6 the battery has aged — so slowdowns and short battery life are largely age and that chip generation. Free storage, disable always-on display, update software, and consider a battery replacement. The under-display fingerprint sensor was also a known weak point; re-enrol it and press firmly. It is near the end of its update support, so some new features will not arrive.
