• Initial charging & refills
  First setup charges the printhead using some starter ink (normal). Refill the matching bottle when low; do not run tanks dry, which introduces air and causes clogs. Fax/ADF on this model (office AIO).
• Connectivity
  Wi-Fi/Ethernet/USB via the Canon app; 'offline' is usually a Wi-Fi drop or wrong queue.
• Cartridge-free
  You refill large ink bottles into onboard tanks, which gives a very low cost per page and thousands of pages. It is still an inkjet, so the printhead can clog if the printer is unused.
• Initial charging
  Refill the matching bottle when a tank is low, and never run a tank dry, since air enters the lines and causes clogs.
• Regular use
  Print something in color every week or two to keep the nozzles wet. A printer that sits for months is the most likely to clog.
• Finding the model
  The model and serial number are on the back or the label inside the cover.
• Refilling the MegaTank
  Each tank has its own bottle with a nozzle that fits only that color, and the tanks should be topped up before they reach the lower line. Close the tank caps firmly after refilling, and do not tilt the printer while it holds ink.
• Cassette and rear tray
  The G7020 has a paper cassette for everyday sheets and a rear tray for photo paper and envelopes. A jam that happens only with certain paper usually means the tray is set for the wrong type.
• Print quality checks
  A print-head cleaning cycle from the menu clears most streaks, and a deeper clean should be used only when a nozzle check shows missing lines. Printing regularly keeps the ink flowing, since an idle printer is more likely to clog.
