• Panel
  2023 OLED evo (conventional WOLED, no MLA) with the Alpha 9 Gen6 processor — dimmer than the G3, brighter than the B3. Self-emissive, so picture faults are near-black/processing, not backlight bloom.
• Smart platform
  webOS 23 with the Magic Remote; update at Settings › Support › Software Update, screen share via AirPlay 2 and Miracast.
• Gaming / HDMI
  Four HDMI 2.1 ports at 4K 120 Hz with VRR, ALLM, G-Sync, FreeSync and HDMI 2.1 QMS (no black-screen flash on refresh-rate changes). Game Optimizer must be on for the input to leave 60 Hz.

• Evo panel and the C3
  The C3 uses LG's brighter OLED evo panel and the Alpha 9 processor, so its picture is bright and even, with the Auto Brightness Limiter dimming large white scenes. A drop in brightness during a bright scene is that limiter and is adjustable in the settings.
• Gaming features
  The C3 has four HDMI 2.1 inputs, a Game Optimizer menu and support for 4K at 120 hertz, so a console that does not unlock 120 hertz usually needs its video output or HDMI mode changed, not a new TV.
• An older webOS
  The C3 runs webOS 23 and receives updates less often than the newest sets. Check Settings, Support, Software Update every few months, since an app that has stopped working is often fixed by an update.
