My LG C3 flashes a black screen when a game or app changes frame rate.+
The C3 supports HDMI 2.1 QMS (Quick Media Switching), which is designed to remove exactly that black-screen 'bonk' when the refresh rate changes — but both the source device and the app have to support QMS for it to work. If the flash persists, it is the source not sending QMS, not a TV fault; it is harmless and does not indicate a failing panel.
