What is true of this model and changes how you fix it

• Panel
  2024 OLED evo with the Alpha 9 AI Processor — no Micro Lens Array (that is reserved for the G4/M4), so it is dimmer than the G4 but brighter than the B4. Self-emissive; bright-window dimming is the Auto Brightness Limiter, not a backlight.
• Smart platform
  webOS 24 with the Magic Remote. Update at Settings › Support › Software Update; screen share is AirPlay 2 and Miracast. Tizen/Google-TV/Roku steps do not apply.
• Gaming / HDMI
  Four HDMI 2.1 ports up to 144 Hz with VRR, ALLM, G-Sync and FreeSync — a 2024 first for LG. Game Optimizer must be on for the input and the cable must be 48 Gbps.
• Formats
  Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, plus Filmmaker Mode.
• Software updates
  LG states up to 5 years of software updates through webOS Re:New.
• HDMI
  Reviews and LG's UK page list four HDMI 2.1 ports, all at 48 Gbps, so a 4K 120 Hz console does not need a specific port.
