- PanelOLED evo (conventional WOLED, not the G5's Tandem panel) with Brightness Booster Max and the Alpha 9 AI Processor Gen8, peaking over 1,000 nits. Self-emissive, so there is no backlight bloom; a large bright window dimming slightly is the Auto Brightness Limiter working as designed, not a defect.
- Smart platformwebOS 25 with the Magic Remote. Updates: Settings › Support › Software Update; screen share is AirPlay 2 and Miracast. Tizen / Google TV / Roku TV steps do not apply.
- Gaming / HDMIFour HDMI 2.1 (48 Gbps) ports up to 144 Hz with VRR, ALLM, G-Sync and FreeSync Premium. The high-refresh and VRR modes require Game Optimizer on for that input and a 48 Gbps cable; without those the input stays at 60 Hz.

My LG C5 screen looks dimmer than expected in bright scenes.+
A large bright area dimming is the Auto Brightness Limiter, standard on all OLEDs including the C5. It is not a fault. Turn off Energy Saving (Settings › Support › Energy Saving) and the ambient light sensor to stop the other automatic dimming; the ABL on full-screen brightness is intentional and cannot be switched off.
Which HDMI port should I use for my PS5 or Xbox Series X on the C5?+
Any of the four — all four are full HDMI 2.1 at 48 Gbps, unlike LG's B-series where only some ports are full-bandwidth. Use a certified Ultra High Speed cable and turn on Game Optimizer for that input to get 4K 120/144 Hz and VRR. HDMI 2 also carries eARC if you are chaining audio through the TV.
