• Panel — Mini-LED LCD
  2022 Neo QLED Mini-LED LCD with Quantum Matrix dimming — very bright, but a backlight, so blooming/halo around bright objects and raised dark-room blacks are normal LCD behavior, not a fault.

• Sound
  The TV has built-in speakers and supports sending sound out to a soundbar over an eARC port or optical. No sound is usually a setting, a cable or a soundbar selection.
• The sound output setting
  The TV's Sound Output setting chooses between its own speakers, an HDMI eARC device and others. If it is set to a device that is off, there is no sound.
• Bluetooth audio
  A Bluetooth speaker or headphones that are still connected take the sound away from the TV speakers.
• A 2022 Neo QLED in daylight
  The QN90B is bright enough for a sunny room, and its anti-reflection film helps with window glare. In a dark room the same brightness shows backlight glow around small bright objects, so a lower brightness setting and Cinema or Filmmaker mode give a calmer picture for movies.
• Age and software
  A 2022 TV is several software updates old, and the Smart Hub changes with each. If an app is slow, update the TV first, then clear the app's cache or reinstall it, since a long-running Smart Hub can fill its memory and become sluggish until it is restarted.
• The solar remote
  The Solar Cell remote charges from room light and from USB-C. A remote that stops responding after months in a dark cabinet needs a charge through the USB-C port or a few hours near a window, and is not necessarily faulty.
