Panel — Mini-LED LCD, not OLED: Neo QLED is a Mini-LED LCD with Quantum Matrix local dimming. It has a backlight, so a faint halo/bloom around bright objects on a dark background and slightly raised blacks in a dark room are normal LCD behaviour, not a fault — the opposite diagnosis from an OLED. Larger QN90D sizes use a wide-angle (ADS) panel and smaller ones a VA panel, so viewing-angle and contrast differ by size.
No Dolby Vision: Like every Samsung TV, the QN90D does NOT support Dolby Vision. It plays HDR10, HDR10+ and HLG. A title that offers Dolby Vision will fall back to HDR10/HDR10+ here — that is by design, not a fault, and no setting or update adds Dolby Vision.
Smart platform: Tizen with Smart Hub and the Samsung Gaming Hub (cloud gaming). Update path is Settings › Support › Software Update; screen sharing is Smart View (Miracast) and AirPlay 2. webOS, Google TV and Roku steps do not apply.

Why won't Dolby Vision play on my Samsung QN90D?+

No Samsung TV supports Dolby Vision, including the QN90D — Samsung backs HDR10+ instead. The app detects the TV has no Dolby Vision and streams the HDR10 or HDR10+ version, which is why you see HDR10+ where another brand would show Dolby Vision. It is a deliberate format choice by Samsung, not a fault, and it cannot be enabled by any setting or update.

I see a glow around bright objects on my QN90D.+

That is backlight blooming, normal on a Mini-LED LCD like the Neo QLED. Unlike an OLED it lights the picture with a zoned backlight, so a bright object on black can show a faint halo. Local Dimming set to High tightens it; it is a characteristic of the panel technology, not a defect.
