One of my Orbi 970 satellites shows a poor connection.+
That is the backhaul — the wireless link between the satellite and the router. Move the satellite closer to the router or the next node so it sits within good range (the app shows the connection quality), keeping it roughly within sight rather than several walls away. For the strongest, most stable link, connect the satellite to the router by Ethernet (wired backhaul). A satellite placed too far will show a weak or dropping connection.
