  A body this thin runs warm during heavy editing or while charging, and the OLED panel can show a slight grain or color shift at the lowest brightness. Magic Keyboard problems come from dirt on the three connector dots or a case that stops the keyboard seating, and the Pencil Pro pairs and charges on the magnetic edge, which a thick cover can block.
• How to approach a fault
  Restart with the volume up, volume down and top button sequence, update iPadOS, and test the accessory on its own. If heat is the issue, take off the case, stop the heavy task and let the iPad cool before judging battery or charging.
• Finding your exact model
  Settings, General, About shows the model name and the model number. The 13 inch iPad Pro with the M4 is A2925 for Wi-Fi in some regions, and you need the right number for covers, because the previous 12.9 inch Pro used a different body and a different Magic Keyboard.
• Accessories that matter
  The new Magic Keyboard has a function row and a larger trackpad and attaches magnetically, and it only works with the M4 iPad Pros, not with earlier models. The Apple Pencil Pro adds squeeze, barrel roll and Find My, but older Pencils do not work with this iPad, so check what you own before buying.
• Care of a thin OLED tablet
  A body this thin can bend under pressure in a bag, so carry it in a rigid case. OLED panels can show faint retention if the same bright image is held for hours; changing the wallpaper and setting auto-lock avoids it. Clean the screen with a slightly damp, soft cloth and never spray liquid directly on it.
