  The Sony A95L is a QD-OLED Google TV, and its label, showing the XR-model number and serial, is on the back panel. Photograph it before wall mounting, because the TV hangs flat and the label hides behind it.
• Settings Sony recommends
  Sony's Cognitive Processor XR adjusts the picture by scene. For films, choose Cinema or Custom, turn off Motionflow and use the Brightness setting to suit the room. Keep the TV out of strong direct sunlight.
• Service and warranty
  Sony's support offers a Self Diagnosis in the Help menu that checks the picture and sound. Run it before you call. Keep the receipt, since Sony's warranty depends on the purchase date.
• Connections and sound
  The A95L offers HDMI 2.1 on selected ports, and eARC for a soundbar. Use the port labeled eARC for audio. Sony's Acoustic Surface Audio+ makes the screen itself act as a speaker, so you can use the TV's own sound, or turn it off to use a bar.
• Google TV
  Google TV is Sony's smart platform here. Sign in with a Google account to install apps. Use the Settings gear to reach Display and sound, Network and Device preferences. If the interface is slow, restart the TV from the power menu and update the software.
• Mounting and placement
  The A95L is heavy and thin. Use a wall mount rated for its weight and VESA pattern, and ask for help to lift it. If you use the stand, place it on a solid surface and leave space behind for the vents. Keep the connections accessible before you hang it, since the ports sit at the back.
