  5.0 cu ft, Load & Go XL Plus dispenser (40-load capacity), 35 wash cycles, Steam Clean, Sanitize, 12-hour FanFresh, touchscreen — Whirlpool's top-tier front-load.
• Type — FRONT-LOAD
  Top-tier FRONT-LOAD washer with a round door and gasket. Odor and mildew are a gasket-and-residue issue: wipe the gasket, leave the door ajar, and run the Clean Washer (affresh) cycle — not a drain fault.
• Load & Go dispenser
  Has the Load & Go bulk-detergent dispenser — you fill a reservoir once and it doses each load. A 'clothes come out with residue' or 'not enough detergent' complaint is often the Load & Go concentration/refill setting, not the wash itself; check the dispenser level and the dose setting in the cycle options.
• Fault codes & suds
  Uses Whirlpool F#E# fault codes. A frequent one is Sud/Sd (excess suds), caused by non-HE or too much detergent — it makes the machine pause and extend rinses. Use only HE detergent in small amounts. LF means long fill (water supply), and a lid/door code means the lock is not engaging.

  Drain & Spin and Clean Washer with affresh are listed as utility cycles. The manual points out that not every feature is on every model.
• FanFresh and Steam Clean
