- PlacementPut units about two rooms apart, in the open and off the floor. If your home is wired, link units by Ethernet so that they keep full speed, and use the units' second port for a wired device.

My eero 6+ satellites are slower than the main unit.+
The eero 6+ is dual-band, so it shares the 5 GHz band between your devices and the wireless backhaul between nodes — meaning devices on a satellite can be slower, especially when the satellite is far from the main eero. Keep satellites within a room or two, and where you can, connect them by Ethernet (wired backhaul), which frees the wireless band for your devices. Tri-band eeros (Pro) avoid this with a separate backhaul path.
Does the eero 6+ support guest networks?+
Yes, in the app.
What does a red light mean?+
The unit has no internet.
Do guests see my printer?+
No, the guest network is separate.
How far apart should units be?+
