- A 2023 large GalaxyReleased in 2023, the S23+ was the large-screen Galaxy with the Snapdragon chip that Samsung tuned for its phones. It has since passed the age at which Samsung ships big Android updates, so most owners now care about security patches and battery wear.

What is true of this model and changes how you fix it
- Camera — 12MP front, 3 rear12MP Ultra Wide, 50MP Wide, 10MP Telephoto (3x optical, 30x digital zoom). Same camera hardware as the base S23 — the Plus's advantage is screen and battery, not photo quality.
- Display and battery6.6-inch screen, 4,700mAh battery — no built-in S Pen (Ultra only).
- Storage/RAM256GB or 512GB, 8GB RAM — no 12GB RAM or 1TB tier on this model, unlike the Ultra.
- What owners run intoAfter three years the battery loses capacity, which shows up as a phone that needs charging mid-afternoon and sometimes drops from 20 percent to off. Other reports include Wi-Fi dropping on mesh systems, the fingerprint reader failing after a protector change and speakers crackling at high volume.
- How to approach a faultCheck Battery health, then try the usual order: restart, update, Safe mode, then reset network settings for Wi-Fi faults. For battery, Samsung's service centers test the cell for free.
- Finding your model and softwareSettings, About phone shows the model and security patch. The S23+ received its last major Android update some time ago, so the patch date is the thing to watch; a recent date means Samsung is still covering it.
- Keeping an older flagship quickFree storage, clear app caches in Device care and turn off animations in Developer options if the phone feels slow. Removing unused apps and keeping a few gigabytes free makes a bigger difference than any cleaner app, and a battery replacement restores both speed and runtime.
- Trading in or sellingBack up, sign out of your Samsung and Google accounts, turn off Find My Mobile and perform a factory reset. A phone still tied to an account is hard to resell. Samsung and carriers offer trade-in credit, and the S23+ still holds good value with a clean screen and a healthy battery.

Exact questions
Questions that only have an answer for the Samsung Galaxy S23+
My Samsung Galaxy S23+ won't charge fast.+
Fast charging needs a compatible high-wattage USB-C charger and cable (the S23+ supports up to 45W with a PD-PPS charger) — a slow or non-PPS charger tops out lower. Enable fast/super-fast charging in Settings › Battery › Charging. A hot phone also throttles charge speed to protect the battery, so remove the case and avoid using it while charging. A worn cable or a dirty/damaged USB-C port also slows charging.
Does the S23+ still get updates?+
It receives security patches, though its main Android updates have finished.
Why does my S23+ battery drain fast?+
The cell has aged; check usage by app and Battery health.
How do I tell whether Samsung still patches my S23+?+
Check the security patch date in Settings, About phone.
What should I do before selling?+
Sign out of accounts and factory reset.
