How do I get rid of the smell in my Samsung front-load washer?+
Run the Self Clean cycle (Samsung's drum-cleaning cycle) regularly, and between loads wipe the door gasket dry, peel back its folds to clean trapped residue, and leave the door and detergent drawer ajar to air out. Use only HE detergent in the correct amount — too much leaves residue that feeds odor. That routine, not a repair, is what keeps a front-loader fresh.
