Thermador Masterpiece wall oven code E000
A mismatch between the user interface and the electronic oven control board, which happens when one of them was replaced with the wrong part.
Check the part number of whichever board was replaced against your oven's model number.
Cut power to the oven and fit the board or interface that is listed for your model.
Thermador Masterpiece wall oven code E003
A user interface that has passed 185 degrees.
Close the upper oven door fully and see whether it seats against the frame.
Replace worn upper door hinges and a damaged door seal, check the cooling fan's wiring for loose connections or a damaged harness, and replace the upper oven cooling fan if it does not run when it is switched on.
Thermador Masterpiece wall oven code E005 or E009
A loss of communication between the user interface and the electronic oven control board.
Cut power to the oven before looking at the cable between the two boards.
Reseat loose connectors or replace a damaged harness. If the harness is sound, replace the user interface, and if the fault continues the electronic oven control board is next.
Thermador Masterpiece wall oven code E010
A memory error in the user interface.
Cut power to the oven and look at the harness to the user interface.
Reseat loose connectors or replace a damaged harness, then replace the user interface if the connections are good, and the oven control board if the fault persists.
Thermador Masterpiece wall oven code E011
A user interface error or a stuck touch key.
Cut power and wipe the glass touch panel clean and dry.
Restore power and see whether the error clears. If it does not, check the harness between the user interface and the oven control board, then replace the user interface and, if needed, the control board.
Thermador Masterpiece wall oven code E012
A defective electronic control board temperature sensor.
Cut power to the oven.
Replace the electronic oven control board.
Thermador Masterpiece wall oven code E032
Ten seconds of several keys being held at once.
Press Clear and enter the oven settings again.
If it keeps happening, cut power, dry the glass touch panel and restore power. Then check the harness between the user interface and the control board, replacing the user interface and, if needed, the control board.
Thermador Masterpiece wall oven code E101 or E104
A failure of the upper oven temperature sensor.
Cut power and check the sensor's harness.
Fix loose connectors or a damaged harness, then measure the sensor: 1,080 ohms at about 70 degrees is healthy. A sensor that measures off is replaced, and with a good sensor and harness the control board is replaced.
Thermador Masterpiece wall oven code E106
An upper oven door latch that does not lock.
Cut power and check the latch's wiring.
Reseat loose connectors or replace a damaged harness, then replace the upper door latch assembly, and the oven control board if the fault continues.
Thermador Masterpiece wall oven code E107
An upper oven door latch that does not unlock.
Cut power and check the upper latch's wiring.
Reseat loose connectors or replace a damaged harness, then replace the upper door latch assembly and, if needed, the control board.
Thermador Masterpiece wall oven code E115
An upper oven temperature that is too high.
Cut power and note whether the oven really overheated.
If it did overheat, a defective relay on the control board is the cause and the board is replaced. If it did not, check the upper sensor's harness and measure the sensor, 1,080 ohms at about 70 degrees, replacing the sensor if it is off and the board if both are good.
Thermador Masterpiece wall oven code E116, E122 or E123
A meat probe error.
Cut power and check the probe receptacle's wiring.
Reseat loose connectors or replace a damaged harness, then replace the probe, then the receptacle and finally the control board if the fault carries on.
Thermador Masterpiece wall oven code E124 or E126
An upper oven door switch and latch switch that disagree about whether the door is shut.
Cut power and check the wiring to both the door switch and the latch.
Reseat connectors and replace damaged harnesses. If the door switch does not control the oven light as it should, replace it; if it works, replace the latch assembly, and the control board if the fault continues.
Thermador Masterpiece wall oven code E207
A lower oven door latch that does not unlock.
Cut power and check the lower latch's wiring.
Reseat loose connectors or replace a damaged harness, then replace the lower door latch assembly and, if needed, the control board.
Thermador Masterpiece wall oven code E303
An electronic oven control board that has passed 212 degrees.
Close the upper oven door fully and see whether it seats against the frame.
Replace worn upper door hinges and a damaged door seal, check the cooling fan's wiring, and replace the upper oven cooling fan if it does not run when asked.
Thermador Masterpiece wall oven code E309, E310 or E312
A failure of the electronic oven control board.
Cut power to the oven.
Replace the electronic oven control board.

Thermador Masterpiece wall oven error codes
Thermador's Masterpiece wall ovens show E codes for sensors, door latches, fans and the control, and this page lists the documented ones. A code is shown with a number, such as E118 for a cooling fan fault or E206 for a door latch fault, and the number names the specific area.
Write down the code and press the key to clear it. Switch off the oven at the breaker for a minute. A latch code after a self-clean often clears once the oven cools; do not force the door. A fan code may point to a blocked vent. A sensor code means the oven is not reading its temperature. Codes that return need a technician.
The model and serial are on a label on the oven frame. Thermador's service asks for both. Premium ovens have model-specific parts.
Thermador's Masterpiece ovens have a double oven design and a long-life control panel, and many faults relate to the door latches and fans. If your oven shows a latch code after a self-clean, allow it to cool fully before trying again, and check that the racks are not hitting the door. A fan code can be set off by a blocked vent above the oven. Premium service is arranged through Thermador, and the technician will ask for the model, serial and code.
Thermador's Masterpiece series includes single and double wall ovens with electronic controls and a lock on the door for self-clean. The E codes in this table cover the temperature sensors, the door latch and its switches, the cooling fans and the control. Because the double oven has an upper and a lower cavity, the code often shows which one. Note it before you search.
The door latch is a motorised lock with switches that tell the control whether the door is locked or open. A latch code can mean that the motor has stalled, that a switch does not close or that the door is out of alignment. Before a self-clean, remove racks if the manual says so and wipe heavy spills. If a latch code appears afterwards, leave the oven to cool completely and try again before calling for service.
Cooling fans protect the control while the oven is hot. A fan code can come from a blocked vent, a fan that has seized or a wire that has loosened. Keep the cabinet vent free of items, and listen for the fan after cooking. Thermador's service technicians are trained for these ovens, and the model and serial on the frame help them bring the right part.
What does E206 mean on a Thermador oven?
A fault in the lower oven door latch.
Can I force a locked door?
No.
Why does my oven show a latch code after self-clean?
The door lock may not have released; let it cool.
