My launch PS5 storage fills up fast.+
The original PS5 has an 825GB SSD, of which only about 667GB is usable for games — and modern games are huge, so it fills quickly. Add an M.2 NVMe SSD in the internal expansion slot to store and play more games (a USB drive can only store, not play, PS5 games). Delete finished games (they re-download from your library) and offload PS4 games to a USB drive, which can play PS4 titles directly.
Why will my PS5 not read a disc?+
Try a clean, undamaged disc first, then another disc. If none reads, the lens or drive is at fault; repair shops rank disc drive failure second after HDMI damage.
Why does my PS5 disc drive click and eject the disc?+
Repair guides list clicking and random ejection as disc drive faults. Try a different disc and a system software update; if it persists it is a drive repair.
