  4.5 cu. ft. FRONT-LOAD washer with a door gasket. Gasket care (wipe dry, door ajar, clean cycle) governs odor and mildew.
• SmartBoost & wash system
  SmartBoost premixes water and detergent before the load starts, and LuxCare Plus adds jets and a stronger wash motion — so a longer or two-stage-feeling cycle is these features working, not a fault. Perfect Steam and a Sanitize option (99% bacteria) extend time by design.

  A 15-Minute Fast Wash handles small, lightly soiled loads; a heavy or full load on the fast cycle will not clean as well, which is expected for a quick cycle, not a defect.

A fault that appears on a lower tier, such as a clogged drain filter or clothing caught in the door gasket, appears here too.
• Keeping a long cycle honest
  Because this washer adds premixing, extra wash phases and steam on purpose, the first question about a long cycle is which options are selected. Turn off Steam, Sanitize or Optic Whites for a plain load and compare the time with the quick 15-minute wash; if the plain cycle is also slow, check the drain filter, the inlet screens and the detergent dose before suspecting a part.
